- Sounds like they must of had some problems with people towing heavy. Looks like it still sits on top of the bed corrugation and will allow for bed deflection unless you add spacers to fill the void between hitch base and top of bed cross member. B&W 18K Companion had that problem with towing heavy until they came out with spacers. My 18k Companion did cause bed deflection towing heavy until the spacers were added.
Does the "IMPROVED" Deaux allow for the ability to lock the RV to the hitch?
Sounds like the original "Ultimate" was not. Is it now?
