I towed for the 3rd trip with my Andersen Ultimate aluminum hitch. Nobody died, nothing broke, nothing came unhooked, nobody twisted, turned or pulled my unlocked handle...must be an anomoly... ...

The B&W Gooseneck hitch frame, is tight up against the bottom of the truck bed. This is the frame crossmember that the Companion Hitch sits on with the spacers in addition to being supported by the Gooseneck Hitch. I know several that have this hitch with no damage to the truck bed including myself.
