Andersen Ultimate center of weight vs rear axle

I am considering the new aluminum Andersen Ultimate for my potentially new short bed truck, 2017 Chev 3500 SRW. The question is with the setback of the Andersen Ball in relation to the truck bed ball...

Moving the hitch point back on forth has little effect on diesel pickups that weigh a ton more on the front axle vs the rear axle. The old 2" in front of the rear axles is a carry over from years long gone. Chris
