Are you running Truck tire pressure based on your ACTUAL load???
A couple hundred pounds should not make that much difference. Is your kingpin location in a different location in relation to the center of the rear axle?
Both are solid hitches and should NOT tow any different if kingpin is in the same location fore and aft.
