I'm not sure what these posts on the B&W hitches have to do with the subject hitch which is an Anderson ???
You won't go wrong with the B&W Hitch. Going on 12 years with mine, and have never had a problem with it. I do need to get it repainted, and contacted B&W to see it they would repaint it, but haven't taken it it to them as yet, maybe this next Fall.

It's the B&W Cheerleaders. Mention hitch in any post and they start up. Just ignore them. - Scott_85ExplorerMy Andersen is on a spray in bed liner with rubber mat and hasn't moved at all.

I once had it turn slightly once -- just a tad. I haven't had it happen since then. 50# torque for me. - N-TroubleExplorerHas nothing to do with the bed surface. It's likely his GN hitch is moving. Read my post from earlier.

B.O. - gkainzExplorermy Aluminum is on a rubber bed mat as well - no shifting. Not on a turnover ball (yet).
- 131willExplorerI was worried mine would slip some because I don't have any kind of bed liner and I thought it would slide on the painted bed, but it hasn't. I plan on getting at least a rubber bed mat and maybe a Linex job done, but haven't yet. I torqued mine to spec about a month before picking up out fiver. I re torqued it right before picking it up and it tightened up a little more.
- e-lightExplorerI have the Andersen Ultimate Aluminum on a Curt gooseneck hitch. I torque to spec at 50#. Hasn't moved a bit on my setup. I also have a LineX coated bed. Its rather grippy...what sort of bed do you have?
x2 on contacting Andersen. Andersen CS will help you get it resolved. - N-TroubleExplorerHad the same problem. It ended up being my B&W Turnover was moving. Check all your bolts are torqued to spec on the B&W, especially the side plates. After re-torquing the B&W mine is rock solid. You don't need to torque down the Andersen more than the recommended 50ft/lbs
