Andersen Ultimate Measurements

I am trying to find out if the standard Andersen Ultimate hitch will work with the small auxiliary fuel tank in my truck. Could someone measure their hitch from the center of the turn over ball connection point to the part of the hitch close to cab of the truck? I haven’t found measurements on their website.
  • I am sure if you call, Anderson Hitch can give you much better and good information. I would not just take anybody's word on it. We called for a couple of questions and they were very forthcoming and were honest about some things that would work and another that would not.

We LOVE ours and from the from of our ball to the back of our truck is about 3 1/2 feet. We have an F-350 dually 6.7 diesel. Ours is attached to our rails.
  • If you want a second choice look at the single point PullRite hitch. Very similar to Andersen except the male ball is on the 5th and the female socket is in the truck.
I never measured them but the PullRite looks to have a smaller "footprint" than the Andersen.
Andersen does have their "toolbox" model.

  • If you have a long bed truck, there is plenty of room with a fuel tank.
  • Andersen has a newer version of the AUH that has a shorter length on the front side...made specifically for the shorter shortbed trucks and those who use an Aux. fuel tank. It may not be a stock item, so you might have to call them to find out more.
