I don't know if I posted this on the other thread, but we towed our first 4,400 miles with the Andersen Ultimate and a Lippert 1621 pin box on the trailer without any issues at all. At about the 4,400 mile mark, we swapped out the Lippert pin box for a Demco Glide Ride to help smooth things out. I can't speak to bed damage since I suspect you're using the model that mounts on a gooseneck ball and we have the rail-mount version with the rails mounted on under-bed brackets bolted to the truck frame. (Absolutely no issues there, either). Our pin weight varies but hovers between 2,850 and 3,000 lbs.
