Another Blow Max Failure
2014 Jayco 5th wheel 3rd season. Blew @ 55 mph like a cannon. Air checked before each trip and during each trip. TPMS which went off immediately. Off road quickly, no damage. Tire has 2 blow out holes...

I've seen lots of online complaints, but to a tee, everyone I've asked said they don't have time to bother reporting it. How can the NHTSB do anything if there are few reports?
FWIW, I and a few others on another forum kept track of the posts here and elsewhere for a fair amount of time. The issue is with 15" and 16" tires on heavy trailers. I could only find one posting of someone getting blowouts with 14" tires, and none with 13" tires. Mine has 13" and I'm in my 4th summer with the trailer. No troubles.
