I find it amazing that tire manufacturers can make Semi tires that will support an 80,000 lb semi, but can't seem to make an RV tire that will support a 14,000 lb RV. The OEM Goodyear tires on my RV lasted 5 years with no issues. I replaced them with the same model and they started popping after a year and less than 10,000 miles.
From this are you telling us you have never seen the remains of a Semi tire scattered all over the freeway!
I have even witnessed many Semi tires fail.
So far have not had a trailer tire blow out (been lucky and caught tire separations before failure)
And over the past 40 years I have had at least 4 major failures on my pickup when I had a camper on board.
You would be wrong - I drove semis for more than 10 years. The only tire issues we had with the fleet were when we went to retreads. They were so bad that we ended up just putting them on the trailers.
