- tjar66ExplorerWait it out it will be worth it. Whats a couple weeks?
- dbblsExplorerIt is worth the wait to get just what you want.
- downtheroadExplorerWhen we ordered a previous trailer they said 8 weeks...it took 10. The delay was that they were having trouble finding drivers to make the deliveries..
It sat finished at the factory for 3 weeks waiting.
Overall it was worth it. We got just what we wanted. - skipncharExplorerIn MOST cases this kind of "delay" is caused by the dealer giving you a scripted answer to "how long" rather than getting specific information from the factory. If he told you the STANDARD answer and then got a different date from the manufacturer later on, it may seem to you that they're doing something to delay production instead of just giving you the wrong answer. I wouldn't be concerned at this point as it seems pretty standard for VERY early production runs for the model year. Probably the busiest time of year for most manufacturers.
Good luck / Skip - jrs1871ExplorerTen weeks to get a trailer that is built with your options is not unduly long. I know though that by the time you have figured out what you want, and have ordered it, that you want it now. The waiting seems unbearable. That being said, when we ordered our new fifth wheel last fall they told us 8 to 10 weeks. But the good news was we got it in 7 weeks. So it could happen; keep your fingers crossed.
