not to derail the topic or promote the diesel thing again, but I am on my second F250 and tow right at 10K. A gasser and i am happier than a pig in a mud hole with it. i did get the 4.30 diffy since i had to order it to get 2WD also
now on the tires. Both trucks came with the General grabber LR E tires. On the first truck I was driving down the road minding my business when kaboom a rear tire blew. Winter before last on the current truck one of the rear grabbers had tread separation. i caught that one before it exploded. I have now switched to Firestone Transforce on the rear but only have one winter under the belt on those.
