Okay it came out. The trick was to pull from only one side with the spring and not both equally. However, I can't imagine doing this with all 25 lights as it's a bit of a process. I did find though once it was out that the center popped out. If I can find something to stick between the two housings that wouldn't scratch, it would be a pretty easy process to get them all out. It's a very small crack though that's between the housing and the light.
Now I'll have to figure out how to get to the bulb because it's not quite as straight forward as I thought it'd be (since this whole project has been really straight forward).
