I just inspected our rig for the first time yesterday and loaded my Heritage to obtain an exact spot for the front wheel chock. The d-rings are mounted in the cross members and my rear wheel was very close to the "line" of the d-rings. One thing I have read a lot about is the rear suspension of the bike needs to be secured, just the same as the front. The main reason is the movement of the trailer while in transit. One earlier post indicated the floor had developed a "sag" where the rear wheel rested. I have a carpet covered piece of plywood that I will use under the rear wheel to spread the weight of the rear wheel, plus tie down the rear suspension. My sales rep called the factory and according to them, they have not heard of a bike crashing through the floor.
Continues to be a learning game.'
