I hope these 2 pictures work here to explain how this went. Installed my HF Chock (the Condor Clone) this morning in my 2011 Mountaineer 347 THT. I customized the chock and made the angle frame shorter by 12 inches. The floor frame is longer than it needs to be since the chock can be used in the garage without any attachment. I wanted it to not encroach into the toy den any more than it needed to be. Also I won't be removing this any time soon.
I centered the modified chock over the floor support and tie downs which places the chock a little off center of the recessed area. You have to cut the underbelly plastic and the plastic faced vapor barrier floor batt insulation. I used 4- 3/8 inch by 5 inch carridge bolts and large fender washers & locknuts on the underside. I repaired the cut insulation and underbelly plastic as best I could with heavy duct tape like the dealer recommended. They have done several Condor installs like this they said.
It took me 4 hours and is somewhat harder than it should be. If need be I probably could do another one in 1.5 hours.
Good luck and thanks everyone for all the info in this post and forum. We are heading out next weekend for a couple weeks and will check in on how this setup works.
