Hey fellow THT owners. We finally got ours out on it's maiden voyage. Only took 6 months, although we have been putting it through it's paces in the driveway for a while. It pulled good and we got a little over 11 mpg traveling about 62 mph for over 250 miles.
I still have my HF cheapo chock (Bike Pro style) mounted to a 2x8 piece of 5/8 plywood. The Road King made the trip fine, but it was a bit of a chore getting the bike out of the chock. Still trying to think of the best way to mount the chock solid to the floor, but make it removable for when we want to live in the garage some.
Dropped it at the dealer on the way back for some warranty work. Main thing is a leak on the carpet at the front corner of the bedroom slide when it's out. Hope they find/fix it. A couple other adjustments on the list. One baffling thing is the tires seem to lose pressure - up to 5 pounds on a couple. Checked a couple out in water and no bubbles. Need to figure out what's up with that.
