Hey Sniperduce,
Hope your outing was a good one.
Hey Darrell
We had a great trip. Norman, Ok to the Tetons & Yellowstone and then down to Vegas for relative's BD then back to Norman. All together in 2 weeks we towed the Mountaineer about 3500 miles without any real issues. Found really rough hiways (I15) in Utah. Found out our fixed dinette table extension wasn't setup properly to engage the latch and the table extension hit the kitchen countertop cabinet & did a little damage.
Loading and unloading the Harley was no problem-if you used the ramp and the ramp extensions & braces properly. The ramp deck creaked & moaned a little under the weight but held just fine. Also the HF chock (the Condor style unit) worked very well. The factory d-ring tie downs locations arn't quite in the right locations for the Harley Ultra Classic but I removed my hard bags and was able to tie to the seat frame. The blocking under the engine and the plywood under the rear wheel worked ok but really needs to be min. 3/4 inch as the 5/8 inch I used bowed a little under pressure but it never affected the floor. We were able to ride our Harley throughout the park and were really surprised how many motorcycles were up there.
Really we were quite happy with the Mountaineer and look forward to out next outing to Roaring River SP (Paradise Valley) near Cassivlle Mo. for trout fishing & fun.
Good luck with your 347 and thanks for the help.
