Not sure about the 2nd bike, but where there's a will there's a way. Like you say, maybe with the door open. The other thing I thought was if I get real desperate, the desk could go. Don't see that happening though unless I can't resist getting a dual sport for those roads that the RK won't tolerate.
As for the recliners, we put one of the dining chairs in the desk spot, then one recliner in the empty spot at the table - on the couch side of it only. Otherwise it pinches up against the wall when the slide is closed. The other chair can fit next to the desk in back when the door is closed. Or it will fit just inside the front door or even on the couch when traveling. That's a lot of stuff to jockey around though.
We do like having at least one of the recliners in the living room though as they're more comfortable than the couch. I usually end up on the couch though - what's up with that!
We may ditch either the couch or the dining room table depending on the trip. Not sure how much fun it will be to get the couch in and out the door though. Some disassembly may be required...
