Darrell, ours has the holes on the latches for the locks too. I wouldn't have known it had not the dealer had locks on it on the lot. They are located in the bottom of the channel that the handles rest in/on when closed. The lock shank prevents the handle from being pushed in and lifted over the catch. Not sure if I'm explaining it right, but I think if look at that channel that the handle sits in from below, I think you'll spot it.
You're right, if someone really wants in, they will. Locks are for honest people. I might think of it this way - prying open one of the entry doors with a crowbar and disabling whatever you have inside may be a whole lot easier than busting two locks on the outside, especially the way they sit in the locked position. Plus, they'd probably rather have your flat screens - much easier to sell on Craig's list.
