I purchased the 347tht in April 2010 and it's a 2001 model. Got it with a fireplace, second battery and dual pane windows. A friend bought the 2010 model in April of 2009 and there are a few minor differences but minor stuff.
I haul a 1985 Honda Goldwing 1500 at about #900. Just me and the wife and this is my first 5th wheel. Live in Colorado and been over I70, up to Mt. Rushmore and up to Michigan. I hall it with a 2004 F350 SRW and it tows great. (Well, at least I think so as I don't have anything to compare it to!)
Love the trailer, get comments about where did the motorcycle come from and love the rear garage, porch, office, workroom, etc. Can sleep someone in the garage/office on a single air mattress and they have privacy if needed and don't have to open up the couch. It gives me and the wife our own space (other than outdoors).
As far as quality, I have seen better but I would say it's above average and neither me or my friend have hand any issues so far. Lots of cupboard space in livingroom and garage area but at some point I'm sure I will find stuff to fill it!
Price fluctuates for the same model from around $40,000 to upper $50,000.00 when I was looking. Lakeshore RV in Muskegon, MI had an excellent price but was able to almost match it locally and feel good about local service.
The original floor plan came out in late 2007 and was listed as a 2008 model and I have been watching it every since. Was a little upset when my friend picked one up a year before I retired...course he retired a year before me so guess that was okay. And until this year they weren't offering a fireplace!!
Be happy to offer any info I can but as stated above this is my first RV and the real traveling won't start until spring for us.
