Sniperduce & RK Hauler are right on with info. Other posters have brought to our attention the amount of "travel" a loose rear wheel can have. Both horizontal and verticle. No offense taken, I really love the LT. It's not about your choice of ride. I feel more secure with the frame block to support the weight of the bike on rather than cinching the suspension to it's lowest point. I am perhaps a little paranoid about what the bike is doing and I like having 3 points of weight distribution and security. Strickly a personal thing. We also use the wheel chock that traps the front tire and the chock can be easily removed to have a flat floor with the plate remaining. The carpet rolls right over it and isn't noticeable. Our 1500 mile trip to CO this past summer yielded a great ride for the bike....and us.
