Hey Bob, You really helped and I really appreciate it. Sure makes one want to triple check everything---even the hidden things. Glad you were able to solve the problem and at the same time you solved mine. I can do the heat vent into the garage now and service/clean the furnace.
Great resolve on the bikes.....will use that as well.
We have used our fireplace spring and fall and you are absolutely right......great mood setting and temp control w/out using the furnace. We do the elect carry on heater as well. One of our goldens loves to lay in front of the fireplace.......now that's a pic.
Thanks for passing on the "slide in" to contain the heat. That would work equally well for extreme hot summer days....especially if we are out riding. Put the slide back out for the cooler times of the day.
