Always good info on here. Greg, did you stay with the aluminum wheels or did you go steel? How much psi do you run? I looked at other options and opted to give Marathons another chance. Any problems of any kind and they will be replaced. Speed is definitely a tire killer and like you, I seldom get over 60mph.
Bob, any tire problem on a 2 wheeler is worse than "no fun". I experienced a flat tire on a bike one time in my 50 years of riding and the bike was parked.............still inconvenient at the least.
