Welcome to the thread. We bought our 347THT new back in 2011 and have been full time since 2012. Carol and I spend our winters in FL and then travel in the summer months. We have one son and his family live in CA and our oldest Son and his family live in WI. This year we are headed to Alaska with the HD in the back. Right now we are in Minneapolis and dang its warmer in Alaska than it is here. Will take a couple weeks to cross MN, ND and MT. Will be stopping at a few Air forces bases along the way. I am retired USAF, so those Base RV camps or FAMCAMPS as they are called are real handy. I read all the threads when we got our rig also. Learned a lot. What year to you have and do you haul a bike in it. I've had a few issues with our rig. Nothing major. Awning motor went out. We were staying at Patrick AFB and were very close to the salty water and I guess we the salt got to the motor. He said to use it everyday or it will go bad. He said he does a lot of awning motors there. Had a the bathroom circuit breaker keep going out and was driving me nuts, trying to figure it out, and finally found the shower tub had a small crack in the floor letting water drip on furnace electrical box. Got some floor sealer and fixed the problem. Have had to replace water pump. Easy job. A couple weeks ago found a small crack, about five inches coming down at a 45 degree angle in the side wall coming down from bottom rear of bedroom slider. I called Camping world and guy suggested I put some silicon in crack, so I did. Also, drilled small hole at end of crack. I don't think its a big problem, but will monitor. Crack width is very small, no opening per say. Had a trailer tie down ring pull out. The bolt pulled out through aluminum stud. Got a large ring bolt and ace hardware and screwed in hole and that is working so far. Will have to get a better fix eventually. Anyway, welcome.
