Any Pilgrim Owners with manuals??

Hi All,

Last Fall I purchased a new to me 2007 Pilgrim Open Road 378SA4S-5F 39' 5th wheel. I got a deal that was to good to pass up. The interior was pristine. I have been able to fix everything that needed fixed and we have used it a couple of times and absolutely love it!!

As Pilgrim is out of business I am searching far and wide for a copy of the owners manual for this unit. I have checked on the Pilgrim forum and so far haven't had any luck. I would just like to have a copy of it to refer to if I need it.

If anyone has a manual, would you be willing to scan it or if you don't need it anymore I would be willing to pay postage to have it mailed to me? Anything would help.

Thanks in advance,

Steve
  • If there is any useful info that would be great. Not sure by it being a different model and 3 years older. Is there anything useful in it???

    Thanks,

    Steve
  • Hello, I have a 2004 Open Road 357 RLDS that I bought in September from my neighbor. We love it and it was well aken care of, and I have an official OM. Would share gladly with you if it would help.

Not sure if you noticed but this topic is 10 years old. You might have better luck posting your question in a new topic.

  • I bought a used Carriage trailer and had trouble with a breaker tripping. I contacted Carriage and asked for a wiring or schematic diagram. They replied they didn't have one. I took that to mean "take it to the dealer" so I had to figure out the electrical myself. I have the owners manual and it contain info on the appliances but nothing on the trailer itself.

  • Yeah I guess you guys are right. I probably don't need it. I'm just one of those guys that usually RTFM....lol.

Wouldn't it be nice if manufacturers would include a fairly concise guide and maybe prints with their units. I know, I'm dreaming.

I've been involved for years with purchasing large expensive vehicles (fire trucks). One thing we ALWAYS specify is an 'as-built' wiring and chassis diagram. The damn thing never breaks when its new....it's usually 10-15 years later after everyone has forgotten.

    Thanks for the help,

    Steve
  • We have the 2007 Open road 359RL3S5-I have the owners manual, have never referred to it very much. I will look again to see what info is in it. It may help you, or may not. It included all the manufacture books on the appliance, water heater, fantastic fans etc. Give me a day or two, as we are getting ready to head out on a weeks camping trip, next wednesday. We only had warranty service once, when new. Its been a great 5'er, we bought new, and we love it. Dona
  • I had a Pilgrim TT and the manual wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. Pretty much like any manufacturer. As Donn0128 says, not worth the effort.
  • Too genearic to be of any use and not worth your effort searching it out
