any test before connecting trailer to generator (50amp)

I found an Onan 7kw generator last fall, fixed the bad drive pulley coupler and replaced the belt.. tuned it, new plugs... will convert to tri-fuel. got it all wired up to a 50amp outlet today, st...

I would check it with a very good multi-meter. Check all voltages, 120 and 240, also frequency at the full speed to see if it is at 60 HZ. Put some kind of load on it besides your trailer for the first time to see if all ok.
