It's kind of a neat business model, it would be interesting to follow the money, and know what the dealer cost is, and the profit to both the dealer and the insurance company. Does the dealer sell more units because of this? do they do more service? Answer is, I am sure is yes.
Money has to come from somewhere, and I am sure, and the end of the day, it is from the buyer. He will end up paying for the yearly inspections, probably more for his unit at the time of purchase, work that may not need to be done, and on and on. But for a buyer that feels this gives them peace of mind, this may work out for them
