The RV industry is typically plagued by poor quality, and Dealer services are a step down from poor - so WHY would you ever take an RV back to them to repair? :)
Seriously, on RVs if something fails or breaks it was because it wasn't designed correct, was an inferior product pretending to be something it is not, or it was just put together wrong. Most can be averted by just fixing it yourself or replacing the pretend product with a real one that has a brand name. You go back to the Dealer and they will just redo the original flaw to all it's original glory :)
We are required to go in for annual inspections for 5 years on a 2+5 warranty on ours, mainly to look for seal problems or water infiltration issues. First year was $250 cost to me to inspect, I got a blob of silicon on a piece of side trim, and they never even looked on the roof. On the way out the door I noticed one of the slide seals had worn completely through and slid down the track and was flapping out the side. I asked how in the world they missed that for $250?
