I bought a new chair several years ago. One of the reasons I bought it was because the mechanism had a "lifetime warranty". Now it needs a new mechanism. I read the fine print. The "lifetime warranty" is for the life of the chair which is said to be 7 years...Moral of the story: Read ALL the fine print, don't believe anything that is not in writing...
