The man who owns the local motorcycle shop in the town I live in is a real do it yourselfer. He built living quarters above his motorcycle shop in a big metal building, and has lived there for years.
He also likes to RV quite a bit, and his RV is homemade from an enclosed trailer. Neither his living quarters or his RV have windows.
There is an RV park I like that is popular with the rock-crawlers - mainly heavily modded jeeps. One family I camped next to took a fifth-wheel, took the axles off, and mounted it to the front of a large goose-neck triple-axle trailer. He left the last 20 feet to carry his jeep. I have seen him in campgrounds several times, so I know he gets a lot of use out of his rig.
