I think a curtain, hung from a shower curtain rod type of hanger, would be successful. You didn't say how old your daughter is, but no matter, they all should have privacy. She'd probably consider it "her cave". She'll love being with dad, no matter how you set it up. Best of luck!

on edit: Be sure the bathroom (toilet) is private.......that's VERY important for a young lady.
