I grew up poor. There were no curtains for anyone and a three holed “bench” was the place to share quality time. Making children too modest and feeling like normal body functions are something taboo and to be hidden was not part of my parent’s child rearing plan. There were four of us and we did not turn into sex offenders, murders, perverts, or suffer from any form of childhood abuse. We ended up becoming normal productive tax paying members of society with no more or less faults than the next person in a line.
If you choose to make a partition for your daughter, a simple sheet on a string, hung between two eye hooks should fit the bill and be temporary so that in your daughter’s absence, the curtain could be easily removed or pulled back to the walls. Good luck.
