Anyone modify their BW Hitch release arm?

Thanks for all the great responses. It would seem I'm not the only one using a step stool. My running boards stop at the crew cab so not much help there. The fender on the DRW gives that much more distance especially for putting the pin in the hole when disconnecting. That's past the center point of the bed. Looks like I had the solution the whole time! :S
