Anyone modify their BW Hitch release arm?
I have a 2009 F-450 DRW and I stand about 5'8". The only way I can remove the pin and open the jaws on my BW hitch is with a step stool. I was wondering if anyone has done any mods to make it easier...

I moved the lanyard for the lock pin to a black wire tie further out on the handle. As the factory location makes it even more inboard, when it is hanging. Oh, and I am 6'3" (down from younger 6'4") with a 35" sleeve length, so I do not need my folding plastic stool that rides in the front box for hitching and unhitching. I do use is to place or remove the front puck plugs when removing/installing the hitch.
