The pictures are exactly the size 5th wheels we have looked at. Haven't seen one with a rear door. What did you think of the rear door vs a side door? We have been looking at late 80's and early 90's models and they are about 1/2 the price of a equivalent age Scamp 5th wheel. Not sure we could ever make up the difference in gas saving between towing the two. I thought 4600 lbs would be the loaded down the road weight. We currently own 2 Jeeps and one will have to go in exchange for a bigger tow vehicle. I would prefer a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton truck as my daily driver and they are considerably cheaper to buy. 4600 lbs seems well with in the capacity of a 1/2 ton but I'm not sure about the 800 lb pin weight. The small 5th wheels easily stay with in our $5000 budget but under 20 ft travel trailers seem to bring a premium price so the selection is limited. 24-28 ft trailers are a dime a dozen but they jump up into the 5-6000 lb range loaded and need a 3/4 ton SUV or truck to pull. Anyone have any experience towing a small 5th wheel vs a 24-28 ft trailer?
