That's why they all come with excellent exhaust brakes or other now.
My 2016 RAM CTD shown in my signature was a delight to run in the mountains - both up and down.
My old 2002 Ford Power Stroke 7.3 not so much, but it ran like a top for well over 300,000 mile when I finally traded it.
