We have a 2013 Rockwood 8289WS which we purchased February last year and just put $500 down and they held for 90 days with approved conditional financing. You might also check Forest River Forums http://www.forestriverforums.com/forums and talk with people that have Rockwoods/Flagstaffs 5th wheels and see if someone there can recommend a Dallas area dealer. I also know some RV dealers will assist in looking for a vehicle for you also, can't hurt to ask.
We got the Platinum which is identical to Diamond except for exterior color and in 2013 didn't have the shielded awnings which I understand are options now, also only have the one AC and 30 Amps and cools ours down great.
We love our Rockwood and have had no issues at all. The only issue I had was had to go and buy a specific wedge for the revolution pin box for the B&W hitch I had purchased. The revolution pin box is standard and works fantastic with short bed trucks and you never have to worry if the 5'er will hit the truck.
