After a 37% failure rate over 2 sets of BFG Trail T/A's, I switched to a set of Cooper Discoverers. These are sort of an all-terrain tire and are exclusive to Discount Tire. So far, I'm happy with them. Decent traction in mud/wet; being in AZ, unlikely to encounter snow, though. :B They work extremely well on pavement, as I found out when I had to do a 3-lane evasive maneuver to miss a blue hair that pulled out in front of me. Went from #1 lane almost to the curb, 2 lanes over, then back, in < 100 yards doing about 45-50. Didn't roll, didn't spin out and almost no tire squeal. The thing that amazed me almost as much as the tire performance was =me=! Wasn't even breathing hard and I don't think my pulse even went up. :B
Oh, yeah. They also seem to tow pretty well, though I haven't yet done much with them.
