Have carried an original Coleman for years, then moved to a propane one. Still carry it on about 50% of our trips.
New TT came with a propane connection and a grill. Haven't set it up yet and tried it. Might not because I can carry a propane stove, lantern, propane grill and propane canisters in a smaller space and lighter weight than the new TT grill.
Most of the time, it is just the two of us - so a small portable grill the size of a laptop works for us. Even on the yearly trip with five grandchildren - we don't use the grill that much. Hot dogs and burgers really don't take that long over a wood fire or charcoal.
The DW being a pyromaniac fits right in with the grandsons on that trip.
I love to get up and fix breakfast outdoors, and dinner as the sun is getting low in the sky. DW also loves it when I do that, and cleanup also.
