- elkhorn98ExplorerWe almost always cook outside. I have 2 tables, a 3 burner stove, propane bbq, and a 18 x 24" griddle. I love being outside and keep the mess outside. I think it depends on what you like to eat as to where you would do the most cooking.
- railroadpastorExplorerI bought a stainless steel stove from Costco. I added a 5 foot hose to it and tapped into the existing propane line after it went threw the regulator. I place a shut off valve on it. It is a long enough hose to reach a picnic table where I place the stove. I also have a portable table to use if there isn't a table handy. We traved to Alaska in June 2012. Used the stove almost every day. I Loved it. There is no need to carry an extra tank since you use the one on board.
Happy camping! - ependydadExplorerWe cook inside on the stove and in the oven and outside. For outside, we cook both on the pull out stove in our outdoor kitchen as well as on a charcoal grill separate from that.
I swore the outside microwave was the stupidest thing I had ever seen and I was going to remove it. But now ours gets used on a regular basis. - partsman01ExplorerYes, I use a coleman stove outside all the time, keeps heat down inside during summer trips and I bought a barbeque and took the regulator off and made it to hook up to our outside quick connect and use the barbeque quite a bit when away.
- Flyfisherman128ExplorerI carry a 20 pound tank with a Weber grill and a Coleman stove connected to a wye connector. Cook out when we can cook in when we have to.
- BlueJeanExplorerAwesome responses!
I guess I will bring my Coleman, as I do plan on a lot of bacon getting cooked!
Thanks! - lillyputzExplorer III set up a 3 burner stove with 5 gal tank, BBQ, tables and chairs. everything like I was tent camping. only do coffee in the morning in the 5th wheel unless the weather is bad, then we'll cook in side. It's just nice to enjoy the out doors, but can fall back on the conforts of home when we want to, especialy at bed time.
Lillyputz - jesse_m_jmExplorerI do as much cooking as humanly possible outside. I have a big 3 burner stove and a pellet grill. Takes up lots of storage space, but totally worth it to be outside.
- Texas_Roadrunn1ExplorerDH loves to cook on the Coleman outside, as do I, just the shear pleasure of all those fabulous smells and views would get anyone's day off to a wonderful start! Bacon and coffee mixing with the fresh odor of pine is pretty hard to beat! Throw in a stream, snow capped mountains, or the ocean, not sure it gets a lot better! Undoubtedly it is one of the best reasons to camp!
- fla-gypsyExplorerMost stoves supplied with RV's for using outside are useless. I rarely cook outside with a stove but when I do it is with my Coleman 2 burner propane that can generate some serious BTU's.
