No matter what indicator you have you must actually look at it to discover an empty tank.
For me the red indicator on the regulator does just fine to show I am below 50 percent and have a cylinder to fill.
these sensors were pretty accurate when new but just not durable the sensors and the phone app were dependable but it is just a gadget just as easy to check the switch over window for red .
