Are 5th Wheelers easier to tow & best mfgrs
Probably a silly question but I'm assuming less sway issues with a 5th wheel? Was also wondering what the maximum size is to safely trailer with a 1/2 ton truck and are there some manufacturers/models...

Wow so much help, thank you all so much! I should have clarified we do not have the tow vehicle yet but my husband had planned on getting a new 1/2 ton. He has an ancient one for house/yard work, etc. After looking at some trailers and weights I suspected a 1/2 ton wouldn't cut it in many cases. Seems you get more room with the 5th wheelers and I also suspected an easier tow. We've seen a couple good deals on older motorhomes where we wouldn't have to then get a 3/4 ton truck and a trailer but overall think a trailer may be the better way to go. I will check all the links provided and thank you all for the help you've given me.
