If the pickup was close(er) to the width of the trailer it would work well.
However - think of the mirror extension required for a standard pickup.
NOT that much of a consideration with an MDT or HDT - which would be pretty much "the norm" as a tow vehicle for the 102" (or 101") 5ths.

I would have to disagree. My 15 RAM Dually is about the same width of our 20K 101" MobileSuites with over a 5K pin. The new RAM trucks will handle within specs most of the heaviest 101-102" RV's out there.
