At mud nationals carbon monoxide detector going off

Fuzion 342. Boondocking at mud nationals. Carbon monoxide detector going off.

What to do to trouble shoot it. I opened a few windows, and the ceiling exhaust.

Been going off 20 mins

Thanks,
  • Be very, very careful. We have had several die of carbon monoxide poisoning at the Bristol Motor Speedway when it has been cold and lots of generators running.

It's your audible low battery warning going off. Charge your battery. They work better at this than for CO.

    More than likely.
  • Thanks. Everyone is close camping, so I don't know if it is us or another camper. We turned off generator (Onan less than 1 yesr old) and the gas. We used a Honda last night in its place.

    We will troubleshoot more today.

I have a CPAP so I need electricity.

    Thanks.

  • How old is it? Their life is only about 5 years, but my last one only went 14 months.
  • Turn off your gas at the tanks. See if it keeps going off. Are you running other engines near by? Generator, bikes, trucks?
