Attitude 31CRSG

Eclipse makes great trailers and I would not hesitate to buy one. Have you also looked at the 28/32SAG models with slide? I prefer that side isle and kitchen layout to the 28/32AKLG.

What is your tow vehicle? The 31CRSG is going to have a lot more pin weight due to the front slide and will put you into 1 ton TV category.

I got the tow vehicle covered, Duramax dually. We like the center aisle, that puts the shower in the bedroom and allows the SO significant time doing whatever they do in the bathroom while I'm taking a shower. The 32AKLG would let us take both the SXS and the Trike along, not sure that's enough reason to go longer. I'm kinda hot and cold on that. One thing I don't like is the steps up to the bedroom. They are much taller than standard and will take some getting used to.

We have a 2014 32AKLG. I saw the other model as a nightmare to service the fridge, so we went with the AKLG. We love it, make one trip long trip with the Chinese tires and will have LT's on it within the week when our season starts again.
Tows very nice with my truck.

Arch, on the SAG model the backside of the fridge is accessed through the bathroom. Should be no different than an outside access door and you don't have to worry about crosswinds blowing out the pilot light when going down the road which has happened to me on a couple of occasions with my current TH.

The one I looked at didn't seem to have an access panel, it appeared to me that the fridge would have to be slid out to work on it. I turned and said something to the sales guy and he just nodded, I didn't investigate any further so you are probably right. I escorted the wife out at that point. LOL
In all my years of RV'ing I've never had a pilot go out while driving, but I've had the orifice plug up, the electronic board die, etc. on various fridges and I like easy access.
My wife liked the kitchen layout in the AKLG better anyway, different strokes for different folks as they say. It seems most of us with these newer Eclipse trailers are pretty happy with them. The only thing I have added are a few 12v access points, one in the kitchen area and one on either side of the bed. Mine came with none. The factory stereo is a joke, but I didn't have any expectations in that dept.

I just got the price quotes back from my sales person. Not very competitive. I'm in KS so we don't have any dealers here, working with one in CO. About 16 - 17% off of MSRP with nearly all of the options.
I'm dissapointed that these haulers don't have 12 volt access. We like to run a fan in the bedroom so 12 volts is a must have if we aren't in a campground.
My buddy has the 28 SAG and they didn't get the refrigerator drain line hooked up but he managed to get it fixed himself.

The 32AKLG is pretty high on my list but the missus really likes the bedroom slide out. If we can't get the prices down the 32 or 28 will probably be what we end up with.

I may have to go to California to get one at a decent price, seems funny saying that!!

We have the 28' AKLG with the rear slide and are very happy with it. We did our research, toured the factory, went to the Pomona RV Show, met the owner and the factory service people. (Side note: While at the Pomona Show, Mark Warmoth formally with Weekend Warrior was debuting his new Extreme Warrior Line, and I asked his opinion as well). Surprisingly, Mark said Eclipse made a good product. WW was ground zero for the mass produced toyhaulers, and some of folks left and started Eclipse. I also visited MVP's factory before they went out of business. Finally, we pulled the trigger based on the floor plan/ price point and never looked back.

Unfortunately, there have been issues, but Chris Morris in customer service has always taken care of us. It always amazes me that anything works and is still attached after traveling down I-5 (equivalent to 10.0 earthquake on the Richter scale).

Our freg is mounted on the side, and we have never had an issue (it has an automatic re-lighter). However, I had a Lance Truck Camper and the Atwater Water Heater toasted the side of camper while driving (wind claim in and made a blow torch from the exhaust. Lance claimed it was Atwater; Atwater calmed it was Lance. Needless to say, I now turn all gas devices off at the tank before heading down the road.

I agree the further you go away from California the less dealers/competition and therefore not as good pricing.
