Red flashing is an error message and can only be cleared inside. Most common errors are out of stroke or zero point not set, LCI speak for level.

Leaving you should be able to hit the hitch height button, rear jacks should retract, the nose will go to the height you dropped the 5W at. Caveat: you must not have moved any legs after you auto set.
After thought, make sure your batteries are up, low voltage makes the system do odd things.
