Autolevel pulling wheels off ground

We have a sloping driveway. It's built this way because of it's location, so there's not much we can do about it.

We parked the 5er and let the autolevel go to town, and it leveled the coach fine, until I noticed that the passenger side wheels were ever so slightly off the ground. Both of them.

I can't really find and definite answer as to whether or not this is good or bad, but the engineer in me says this can't be right. Why support the entire coach on the legs only.

This coach has the Lippert Level Up system on it.

  • sounds like the system is working as intended?

the side with the lifted wheels must be quite low. re-park those wheels on some slabs of 2x8 or lynx leveler blocks if you want them better supported.
  • Perfectly normal. If that's what it takes to bring it to level, that's what it will do. We've camped for a week with the wheels on one side off the ground.

If it makes you feel better, you can hitch up, move the 5th wheel and put down a couple of boards or Lynx Levelers, pull the low side wheels up on them and then unhitch and relevel. After you level, the wheels should be resting on the boards or levelers. Personally, that's what I bought the autolevel system to get away from, but to each his/her own.
