How accurate is the fuel gauge with the replacement tanks?
Transfer will give you written info. on your fuel gauge i.e depending on the size of the auxiliary tank tank you buy. 45, 50,60, 80 etc.
full tank = # of gal. in tank
3/4 fuel = how many gallons in tank
1/2 fuel =how many gallons in tank
1/4 fuel = how many gallons in tank
Transfer fills your tank in the shop to 1. check for any leaks 2. calculate # of gallons. All things being equal (which they are not) i.e wind, lead footed drivers etc. I can drive 600 to 700 miles before I stop for fuel. I never go below 1/4 fuel level.
