We have had awning toppers on this 5ver for about 8 years now. For all the reasons mentioned already, overall they are a benefit. Buttttt you need to understand and accept that when the BIG wind comes up they will rattle big time, even enough to easily keep you awake at night. We own an RV Resort lot in Lake Havasu Az. where we winter much. Wind there can be very big at times. We have tried the Wedge inflatable and about every other gimmick mentioned on forums like this. We have had technicians try to tighten the material with zero results. Weve tried things that look silly or ugly. Just saying, nothing really works in the big wind.
