Is there a stamp or ID tag located on the axles anywhere to ID them as to what weight capacity they can carry? {Haven't really looked yet} My trailer has drum brakes with leaf springs and shocks, six...

You can PROBABLY tell the weight rating for your axles by measuring the brake shoes. A call to a dealer with this information, along with the manufacturer should be able to give you the weight rating (if you can't find the plate with the rating on it).
