Is there a stamp or ID tag located on the axles anywhere to ID them as to what weight capacity they can carry? {Haven't really looked yet} My trailer has drum brakes with leaf springs and shocks, six...

Don't know how old your trailer is but the front-left tag with wheel and tire info is required, just like the door jamb sticker on the truck. Mine is almost unreadable but is there.
It has the VIN, date built, wheel and axle info and GVWR. Since my trailer was built in Canada, it has all the weights twice: pounds and Kilos.
